NEW RICHMOND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS SPRUCE UP FACILITY GROUNDS

In late May, several students from our local high school spent the day working our facility's grounds getting things tidied up and summer ready.  We are very appreciative of their efforts and welcome them back at anytime!

NEW RICHMOND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS BUILD BEDS AND BLANKETS

LOOK WHAT OUR FRIENDS AT NEW RICHMOND HIGH SCHOOL DID FOR THE GGOH RESCUES...HOW COOL IS THIS!

A quote from one of the students:  "Our service learning project was a success. We completed 30 raised beds during the day and we also made 63 tied fleece blankets."

The kids stopped by Gregory's on June 3rd to bring by all the great stuff they made for the animals and while here they had a quick look around and said hello to many of the animals their work will be helping.

THE GGOH RESCUES SAY, "THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS AND PAWS!!!!"

GIRL SCOUT JUNIOR TROOP 54226 - "PAWSITIVELY" AMAZING!

Gregory's partnered with Girl Scout Junior Troop 54226 for a "Mission Pawsible" fundraiser.  We were on-site with a few of our pawsitively amazing rescues and had a wonderful time greeting all of you that came out to support this collaborative fundraiser.  At the end of the day we left with lots of blankets and braided toys that had been made for our feline and canine rescues.

A great big THANKS to everyone who helped to make this fundraiser a huge success!!

THIRTY-ONE FUNDRAISER ~ WHAT A PARTY IT WAS!!

Casey Giuliani hosted a Thirty-One Fundraiser for GGOH with 100% of her commission going back to GGOH to help support our rescue efforts.  The party was held right here at our facility and it was a great success; everyone had a wonderful time.  We even were greeted by a few new faces and that made the party doubly successful!  We're always glad to meet new people and have the opportunity to tell them all about us.

If you're in the market for any Thirty-One products or are thinking about maybe hosting a party yourself, why not contact Casey at www.mythirtyone.com/fancytotes - she was a wonderful hostess and we'd love it if you recognized her for supporting GGOH.

EAGLE SCOUTS of HUDSON, WI

The Eagle Scouts, out of Hudson, had a project need to receive a badge and were instructed that
the project should be centered around sustainable items.  After giving it some thought, they chose Gregory's Gift of Hope to be the recipient of their project. The Scouts contacted us and we set up
a meeting to discuss their project, give them a tour of our facility, answer any questions they
might have, and share with them what our immediate needs might be.  We here at Gregory's had
been trying to figure out something for the dog runs to help shelter the dogs from the elements; this fit right into the Scouts' project requirements and together, we came up with the idea of
lean-to's.  Additional requirements for the project were that the boys had to create the design,
figure out what supplies were needed, raise funds to purchase those supplies and then
subsequently do the building to complete the project.  They did a great job and provided us with
four awesome lean-to's for the areas.

We are so pleased that the Eagle Scouts chose us to be the recipient of their project work!  With the coldest and snowiest month's of winter yet ahead of us, these lean-to's could not have come
at a better time.  The dogs need potty breaks and sometimes the weather doesn't want to
cooperate with us on that but with these lean-to's, the animals can make a quick trip outside
and then have the shelter of the lean-to's while they wait to be returned to the warmth of
their kennels.

Thank you so much, Eagle Scouts of Hudson, for thinking of us!!

GIRL SCOUT TROOP #54227

A great big THANK YOU goes out to Girl Scout Troop #54227 from River Falls. The troop
held a
fundraiser at Dick's IGA Grocery in River Falls and boy, did their efforts pay off! The girls
raised
more than $680.00 the day of the fundraiser, as well as taking in donations of goodies for
the
animals and supplies to assist the volunteers in their cont
inuing efforts to care for our furry
friends.  Gregory's also received a $50 check in the mail from someone who missed the day of the
fundraiser but wanted to be sure that the Girl Scout troop received proper recognition for that
donation.  We can't thank these girls enough for choosing our organization for their fundraising efforts.

We'd also like to thank all of the wonderful people of the River Falls community who contributed
to the fundraiser with their donations.  We are overwhelmed by your generosity and send our
thanks to everyone from the bottom of our hearts and paws!
